When you are travelling with whole of your family, why cannot your pets go with you? Of course they are part of your family and they have every right to go with you but you need to consider following mentioned points when you are intending to travel with your pets.   1. Ask from the airline you are travelling if there is any restriction imposed on the pets. Consider whether your airline;
    • Allow you to take your cat or small dog in the cabin with you
    • Have any restrictions on transporting your pet below the cabin
    • Have any special pet health and immunization requirements
  2. Always travel on the same flight as your pet.
  3. Ask from the staff of your air line, whether you can see your pet being loaded and unloaded.
  4. Inform at least one of the captains that your pet is with you or below the cabin. If captain will know about the presence of pets in the cabin, he will take certain measures.
  5. If your pet is travelling below the cabin and months of summer or winter are going on, you need to choose a flight that controls temperature below the cabin.
  6. Do not forget to affix two pieces of identification on the collar
    • A permanent ID with your name and home address and telephone number.
    • A temporary travel ID with the address and telephone number where you or a contact person can be reached.

  2. Always provide frequent bathroom and exercise breaks to your pet
  3. You need to give your water frequently to avoid dehydration.
  4. Do not leave your pet alone. You may loose it.
